This experience will last a total of approx. 25 minutes, with approx. 18 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)

As you take off from Barton the skyline of Manchester will come into view. The second city of the UK and the world's first industrial city, it is characterised by its red brick buildings. You will have a bird's-eye view of some of its most famous landmarks. Old Trafford, home to Manchester United and the largest football ground in the UK.

Nearby is Old Trafford Cricket Ground, home of the Lancashire cricket club since 1864. HM prison Manchester (formerly 'Strangeways'), is a grade II listed building which cost £170,000 to build. Its walls are rumoured to be 16ft thick. It's then on to the City of Manchester Stadium, built for the Commonwealth Games, hosted by Manchester in 2002 and now home to Manchester City Football Club - the richest club in the world. Before heading back to Barton, listen-in on the radio to hear Air Traffic Control at Manchester Airport - the busiest outside London.

Maximum weight 15 stones, if buying two vouchers max COMBINED weight is 30 stones
We recommend that you wear long sleeves and trousers and should avoid wearing a hat (helicopter downwash can be quite exciting!)
The pilot can control the internal temperature of the helicopter, although it can become quite warm on sunny days.
The helicopters carry between 3 and 6 people, so there will be other passengers on board.
Flights typically take place at weekends between February and November.
