60 minute flying lesson in a Robin 2-seater at Hawarden

60 minutes flying in a Robin HR200-120B from one of the longest runways in the UK, out over the beautiful Cheshire countryside. This aircraft has fantastic visibility and great handling, superior to the ubiquitous Cessnas and Pipers

This experience will last a total of approx. 90 minutes, with approx. 60 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)

You will have a briefing with your pilot to cover what to do and what not to do, how an aircraft flies and is controlled, and also where you might want to overfly. (Your choice of route may not always be possible, depending on weather and air traffic control, but your instructor will always try his/her best for you).

After the briefing your family and friends will be able to watch and photograph your preparations, and then, properly strapped in, off you will go!

During the flight your instructor will give you as much control as as you want, and as much as you both feel safe with.

All too soon it's time to land and taxi back to the clubhouse for tea, medals, and a certificate of your achievement. If you want you can put this flight into a personal logbook, just in case you want to take things further, it will count towards your total time.

Special Conditions

There are no particular fitness requirements, if you can get into and out of a small car you will be fine.
If you are taller than 1.83 metres, or heavier than 114 kgs, please get in touch before purchasing.

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 9 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
