This experience will last a total of approx. 80 minutes, with approx. 60 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)
Imagine the thrill as you take the controls of a light aircraft for that unforgettable first flying lesson. After a short briefing from your flight instructor, it's time to take to the air where you will have plenty of opportunity to take the controls yourself and experience the sheer exhilaration of piloting your own aircraft.
Your flying time even counts towards a Private Pilot's Licence so, who knows it could be the first step towards achieving this.
Flights are carried out by a fully qualified and experienced instructor in a Cessna 152 dual controlled aircraft.
Minimum age 16 years.
Clothing - Wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes.
Spectators are welcome at no extra charge.
Meals - Hot and cold drinks available at the airfield. Local pubs and restaurants nearby.
Each voucher entitles
one person
to participate in this experience. The voucher is
transferable, which means that anyone can use it.
The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for
your event.
We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.

Extract from letter: I would like to thank you for making my 60th Birthday present from my husband such a memorable experience. My phone calls to book the flight and confirm the flight on the day were dealt with efficiently by people who appeared to be as enthusiastic as I was, including the groundstaff!
I read the book - Introductory Flying Lesson - which was bought as part of my present (along with a Logbook) and downloaded a picture of the controls for the aircraft from the internet so when the great day arrived I felt prepared.
On Sunday 22nd July (2007) I had my 1 hour flight in a Cessna 152. Neil, the instructor, appeared to enjoy the flight as much as I did - he was excellent.
If I could afford it I could easily become hooked (and that is from someone who can not even drive a car). My next adventure is to experience a loop-the-loop and barrell roll - as a passenger of course. I think that the full aerobatic experience might be too much for my blood pressure!

It was really easy a simple phone call. Was easy to find the traffic was a but of a mission as it was carnavel day. The staff were great both on the flight and on the ground. They could see I was worried about my elderly dad going in the flight they kept me informed as to how he was the whole time. The flight instructor did try and give my dad a briefing but I think he was way to ecsited to listen and nearly deaf so I don't think he took much of it in. His fault not instructors. After being in the army for years my dad had never got to fly, it has been his dream to take to the air. Me and my children decided for Christmas we would make that wish come true and although I was worried his ill health would be a problem I couldn't have been more wrong ! My dad was still in cloud 9 way after he landed. I can't thank the staff enough you really did make an old man very happy. There was no pressure on time which was great we were able to make a day if it. We took a picnic and got the while family together to support my dad on his big day. The staff were all happy to have pictures takin and gave him a log and certificate to remember the day.
