This experience will last a total of approx. 80 minutes, with approx. 60 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)
A sixty-minute flying lesson makes a great gift for any thrill-seeker!
First, you will meet your instructor, who will show you the controls of the aircraft and what they do; then it's time to get strapped in and take off on your maiden flight! You will be offered as much time on the controls as you feel happy with, and your instructor feels you can handle; and when you return to earth, your first thought will be, 'when can I do that again!'
This flight can count towards the hours required for gaining your licence.
Please be aware that we cannot control the weather; adverse conditions may postpone or restrict your flight
Minimum age 12
Maximum height 6 foot (if you are taller, we may be able to accommodate you in a 4-seater)
Maximum weight 13.5 stone (if you are heavier, we may be able to accommodate you in a four-seater)
Each voucher entitles
one person
to participate in this experience. The voucher is
transferable, which means that anyone can use it.
The voucher remains valid for bookings for 9 months from the date of purchase.
Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for
your event.
We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.

Very easy to find Bodmin Airfield, as I had been there before. I don't recall receiving ANY directions from yourselves or anyone else. Good facilities there. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially at Bodmin Airfield. Very comprehensive and efficient briefing. [the experience] Excellent - once it had been arranged. Very impressed with the staff and instructor at Bodmin Airfield. They went out of their way to make it a most enjoyable experience.

It was easy to arrange the flight date and time. The operators persevered until they found the perfect fit for us. The venue is easy to find although we did get a bit lost in the carpark - we went to the wrong one- but that's just us! Staff were great! The pilot (Jim) was particularly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. During the briefing the instructions were clear and unambiguous. The experience was well managed and safely conducted. My husband is a microlight pilot and a plane addict, so we will definitely be doing this again (and again...). We had a great time and the views over Morecambe Bay from 2000 feet are spectacular. After the event we took plenty of photos.
