This experience will last a total of approx. 50 minutes, with approx. 20 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)
Our Introductory Helicopter Trial Lesson allows you to experience the thrill of flying and will even count as the first step towards your Private Pilot's Licence. The trial lesson is preceded by a short flight briefing with our instructor who will explain all aspects of the flight including the effects of controls and how a helicopter flies. The student will then be allowed to take the controls and actually fly the aircraft!

Otherwise maximum weight is 17 stone (109 kg) but can varies depending on location ; maximum height is 6' 6" (1.98 m).
Minimum age is 12 years (adult supervision required on airfield premises for under 16's).
Please note: While we will do our best to avoid it, a fuel surcharge may be applicable at the point of booking if the price of Aviation Fuel is affected by any changes in the EU Tax Regulations or any other significant increase within the UK exceeding 10% during the validity of the voucher.
While we will try to offer your original choice, we reserve the right to alter take-off locations as required by operational circumstances.
Each voucher entitles
one person
to participate in this experience. The voucher is
transferable, which means that anyone can use it.
The voucher remains valid for bookings for 9 months from the date of purchase.
Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for
your event.
We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.

Very easy and efficient, friendly staff. Directions very clear and a cafe next door for refreshments. Staff were very knowledgeable and professional. Mike was very professional and briefing was great and very easily to understand. It was a present for my boyfriend which he did say he enjoyed and wanted longer in the air as it was fun. we were allowed to take photos etc. All was great.

Making booking was ok, understandably busy schedule for the airport. Some more detailed info would have been appreciated regarding taxi or public transport options, of getting to venue. Staff very good. The flight was very good as well. Pictures were allowed before the flight with some time pressure.

...had no trouble finding. ...Small playing area next to the planes to keep the kids happy was well appreciated....purchased for a son's birthday present, but he lost the courage to get his feet off the floor, so his Mum took his place. No problem with changing the particiant. She felt perfectly safe at all times.......so she said!Had to suffer her talking excitedky about it for the hour and a half drive home though.Photos allowed before and after the flight, the Grandkids appreciating getting close up to the machine. Eldest two allowed to pose in the drivers seat with Nanny made their day.
