Microlight trial lesson

After a pre flight safety briefing it is out to the aircraft for the flight. The instructor will demonstate some moves and then it is your turn! Spectators welcome.

This experience will last a total of approx. 45 minutes, with approx. 30 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)

This package includes a pre flight safety briefing and use of headset.

Have a sensational, mind-blowing experience as you soar through the sky in a 3 axis microlight. This is your chance to be introduced to the world of microlight flying!
Experience the thrill of being sky high and controlling a light aircraft.
You will be flown by an experienced pilot who lives and loves flying. It will feel like you are in another world as you see Bedfordshire from this unique and amazing perspective.
Experiences start with a pre flight safety briefing; then it is time to take to the air!
Once securely strapped in, the instructor will handle the take off and climb. Once settled down in level flight your pilot will demonstrate a few gentle turns, and you may be given the opportunity to try for yourself.
You may not believe us now, but you will find it is really quite easy (yet still totally thrilling!) to actually fly the aircraft yourself.
This experience is pure magic and will remain a treasured memory forever!

Special Conditions

We fly Microlights throughout the year.
All equipment is provided.
The minimum age for microlighting is 14 years old. No maximum.
There is a maximum weight limit of 89 to 110 kg (14-16.5 stone) depending on the Aircraft.
Spectators are most welcome to come along to the airfield to watch the fun. There is a decking area to view the flying from and most weekends the cafe is open for tea, coffee, and bacon sandwiches.

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is non-transferable, which means that only the person named on the voucher can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 6 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
