The flight was very easy to arrange, and everyone I spoke to was very friendly. I used my sat nav, and the site was well sign-posted. The faciities were very good, with a display in the control tower, and an excellent cafe. The staff were all very friendly and obviously loved their jobs. The equipment was basic, but that is what the experience is all about - a 'no mod cos' experience! The briefing was clear and concise, and gave me all the information I neededI've read a lot of books about early flying and this is as close as you can get...a real wow! I would definitely recommend the experience.Plenty of time to take photos - my sister got some of me in the cockpit. After the flight we had a great sausage sandwich and coffee while watching others take their flights.
