This experience will last a total of approx. 40 minutes, with approx. 30 minutes spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)
After being greeted by staff at the WWII control tower at former RAF Station Wickenby you will be briefed on the flight. Then Pilot a lightweight microlight through the sky, and with expert tuition, discover just how much fun it can be as you experience the speed and maneuverability of these remarkable and exhilarating craft. We believe we have some of the most experienced instructors in the business. You will have a pre flight briefing and taken to the aircraft for your flight. If you bring family and friends we will look after them a comfortable and warm coffee shop and viewing area. On completing the experience we will give you a signed Student Pilot's logbook detailing the first flying lesson you have just had.
Maximum weight is 18 stone and minimum age 14 but NO UPPER age limit! Maximum height 190cm or 6'5" (but only as you may be uncomfortable if any taller!) Under 18s must be accompanied to the venue by an adult and must have a disclaimer form signed by a parent or guardian.
Each voucher entitles
one person
to participate in this experience. The voucher is
transferable, which means that anyone can use it.
The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for
your event.
We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.

First class service. We booked the flight at Wickenby and the guys were very helpful, even though I was on the mobile quite a lot because of our poor weather. Getting there was good, once you left the main road there were plenty of signs. The cafe on site was good value for money, although not a lot of choice after the fry-up. Staff were very helpful, friendly and answered all my questions without hesitation, and the briefing was first class. Both my son and girl friend could not stop talking about the flight all evening. I think you can say they enjoyed the experience. We spent a couple of hours at Wickenby and all the staff were good, the people flying in were friendly and knowledgeable also on the day nothing seemed to be to much trouble for them.
