Helicopter Hover Course - R22 at Gamston

A real oportuntity to master, or attempt to master, one of the most challenging aspects of helicopter flight! Includes 2 hours of flying in a modern 2 seater training helicopter. Friends and family welcome to come and watch and take photographs.

This experience will last a total of approx. 3 hours, with approx. 2 hours spent in the air. (We don't compromise on your time in the air. When comparing us with others, check the small print and the time actually spent in the air.)

On arrival you will be introduced to your instructor and offered a cup of tea or coffee.
There will be a short pre-flight safety briefing during which your instructor will answer any questions that you may have.
Then it is out to the aircraft and time to learn about the true of hovering. It looks easy but takes a while to master!
At the end of the first hour you will return to base for a cup of tea or coffee then when you are ready it is time to have another go.
This time you will be more relaxed and be able to display your new skills for the watching cameras.
Certificate of flight will be presented at the end of the session for you to take home.

Special Conditions

Maximum weight 17 stone.
Minimum age 14.
Friends and family welcome to come along and take photographs and there is a seating/viewing area where they can wait for student.

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is non-transferable, which means that only the person named on the voucher can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
