PART-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT
Approaches are invited from home workers with good telephone skills to assist customers with flying and
driving experience enquiries and online sales support.
The Company
e-Logbooks Ltd offers services to the general aviation industry, including web hosting solutions and online
log books for pilots. Since November 2003 e-Logbooks has expanded into the leisure market, offering a huge
range of flying experiences through Flights4all and more recently driving experiences at Driving4all.
Flights4all and Driving4all have established a robust and scalable experience voucher vending system which
is earning rave reviews from the suppliers for whom we sell - "head and shoulders above your competition";
"The system seems to be working very well since we registered with you and the self-billing method is great for us!"
- and we back this us up with prompt and knowledgeable customer support.
With an extremely busy Christmas behind us, and demand continuing to grow ahead of our own ambitious
forecasts, we now require additional telephone and email support for our customers.
The candidate
You will work from home and you must have a PC and broadband internet access available throughout
the day. You will be computer literate and be comfortable with the use of email and web browsers.
It is preferable that you are familiar with making purchases online.
The role
With an excellent telephone manner you will be able to quickly understand the customer's query and work
with them and/or our suppliers to close telephone sales. In addition, you will answer customer enquiries by
email using our online CRM system.
In the first instance you will be able to devote 8 hours per week to the business on a single weekday, to
be mutually agreed. Over time, there may be opportunities to work additional hours to provide staff cover.
Ambitious people wanting a bigger career with e-Logbooks are welcome to apply, and will also demonstrate
their interest in e-commerce and an understanding of database structures.
An interest in the leisure industry is preferred, though full training will be provided. e-Logbooks operates
very much as a virtual business, with all staff working remotely; the training will involve several days shadowing
existing staff in either Dorset, Berkshire or SW London.
